Materials	bone marrow(BM)aspiration
Stain	May-Grünwald Giemsa (MG)
Microscopic findings	We had expected inv(16)karyotype abnormality because of the increase of abnormal eosinophils in the bone marrow. This case showed an abnormality of CBFB-MYH11 gene by FISH method and karyotype abnormality inv (16) of (13.1q22). Accordingly,the present case was diagnosed as MDS(RAEB-Ⅱ)with inv(16). 【MG.1000x】
