Materials bone marrow(BM)aspiration
Stain May-Grünwald Giemsa (MG)
Microscopic findings In the bone marrow, as in the peripheral blood, we can see cluster-shaped cells with a slightly loose affinity for cell interaction. In the eccentric cells, nuclear clefts and size variations are conspicuous, and the nucleoli, which are covered by chromatin that has densely increased, are indistinct. The cell clusters exhibit no burden and are planar sequences, because the large cells with strong atypism are sheet-like and epithelial bonds are observed, so the appearance of cancer metastasis to the bone marrow can be easily recognized.
