Microscopic findings Intra cytoplasmic lumina (ICL) were observed in the bone marrow, and this is known to occur frequently in cases of adenocarcinoma and also occur particularly frequently in cases of breast cancer. Fine cilia develop on the lumen side of this structure, and the production of mucus has been ascertained using an electron microscope. Even here, the existence of contents that are believed to be mucus can be observed in the inner parts of the vacuoles.
