Microscopic findings Based on the appearance of columnar cells with strong affinity, the irregular invaginated cell clusters that were observed in the image of hypoplasia may indicate metastasis in the bone marrow of highly differentiated adenocarcinoma. As adenocarcinoma becomes poorly differentiated, the nuclei have a circular tendency, which is why nuclei with long major axes are believed to be highly differentiated. Generally, populations of columnar epithelial cells are structured like bee hives when observed from the glandular cavity and are recognized as populations of quasi-circular cells, and side-view images of the columnar epithelial cells of the marginal regions of the cluster become important.
